I am so excited about my new composter. It will take me a year to actually make "black gold", but I have to start somewhere. I love throwing crap in it. Not literal crap. Egg shells, avocado pits and skins, banana peels, apple cores, coffee grounds... I even put in the kids' hair clippings.Thursday, May 14, 2009

You can have black gold in just a couple weeks! Just water it a lot and stir it a lot.
i'll try. i heard that method still can take 3 months?
Well, my first batch took 5 years. Then I got the hang of it and it's working pretty well.
