Miyo is in Threeschool now, 2 days a week. When she wakes up in the morning and we tell her it's a school day, once she said, "Oh! My beautiful, beautiful school!" When Ben drops her off she says, "Before you leave I am going to hug you." When I pick her up she sings the new song of the day. Yesterday it was "Mongus whale, mongus whale, spouting in the water..." I think it was supposed to be humongous. The first day was, "Brother oval shaped like a zero. Sister diamond shaped like a kite. Mama circle shaped like a pie [thanks for that one]. This is a papa rectangle shaped like a door." There's more, but she gets mixed up and then I do too.

I'm jealous. I'm pretty sure River is going to start pre-K in August which is 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. Right now, the only option, other than daycare, is head start, which is 8 hours a day. I think that 40 hours a week is a ridiculous amount of time for a three year old to spend away from their mommy. Hope this comment didn't put you to sleep. Love, Jacqui
i agree with the 40 hours bit.
Just for the record, she doesn't go to head start. I wash old lady butt so she can go with me and she doesn't have to go to day care or head start. Love, Jacqui
